Music teacher Lisa Heinrich will teach a Beyond Basics Ukulele class on Monday, October 28 at 7 p.m. at the Hudson Library & Historical Society. The class is geared to those with a basic understanding of the ukulele and want to learn more about advanced chords, strumming, interpreting additional forms of ukulele notation and basic finger picking.
Heinrich recently was named 2019 Medina County Teacher of the Year where she teaches general music to more than 600 students.
In addition to her Master of Music, Heinrich has completed advanced classes in Music Learning Theory at Baldwin Wallace University. She is a past president of the Cleveland chapter of the American Orff-Schulwerk Assocation and is a recipient of a Fulbright teaching grant.
