Tuesday Musical's 2023-24 Akron Concert Series presents Ukraine's Kyiv Virtuosi Symphony Orchestra on Tuesday, March 12, 7:30 p.m. at EJ Thomas Performing Arts Hall.
Only touring the United States in March 2024, Ukraine’s foremost symphony orchestra is coming to Akron with a powerful duo piano program. Based in Ukraine's capital and now in residence in Italy, the ensemble unites talented musicians from throughout Ukraine, most of whom are competition winners. Conducting is Grammy-nominated cellist Dmitry Yablonksy, also conductor laureate of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra.
