Attendees can enjoy a behind-the-scenes station tour, an interactive studio experience, light refreshments and these special events:
11 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Children’s activities
11 a.m.: PBS Western Reserve 50th anniversary ribbon-cutting ceremony with Youngstown/Warren Chamber
11 – 11:30 a.m. and noon – 12:30 p.m.: Meet-and-greet with lovable PBS KIDS character The Cat in the Hat
1 – 2 p.m.: Woodworking demonstration by Richard Grell, Windsor chairmaker featured in THE MASTER CRAFTSMAN
2 – 3 p.m.: Screening of the new documentary PBS WESTERN RESERVE: A STUDY IN PERSISTENCE
In addition to the free events, from 10 AM to noon, the station will host Happy Accidents: A Bob Ross-Inspired Workshop. The cost to participate is $100, which includes all supplies and a one-year PBS Western Reserve membership at the Passport level.
