The Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Ohio is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization whose mission is to provide support, education and advocacy for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and communities. We are the primary resource in Northeast Ohio for families and communities regarding Down syndrome, and we work to promote the acceptance, inclusion, and empowerment of all individuals.
I am thrilled to be assisting with the annual Buddy Walk® fundraiser this year! The Buddy Walk® was created by the National Down Syndrome Society to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month and to promote the acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. Since 1995, the Buddy Walk® has become the premier advocacy event for Down syndrome in the United States and is the world’s most widely recognized public awareness program for the Down syndrome community. The Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Ohio Buddy Walk® will be held outside at:
Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) Western Campus
11000 Pleasant Valley Road in Parma, Ohio on
August 17th, 2023 beginning at 7:30am.
