Music at Bath / Singers Companye

Singers Companye, one of northeast Ohio’s premiere chamber choirs, presents a program titled “Jubilate Deo” at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 19 in the Sanctuary at The Bath Church (3980 West Bath Road, Akron; 330-666-3520; a physically accessible venue).  A spectacular event with Artistic Director Samuel Gordon featuring Dan Forrest’s choral work “Jubilate Deo” - drawing on the traditional Psalm 100 text to celebrate the joy of all the earth utilizing seven languages and musical styles.  Additional treats are modern works by Randall Thompson, Jocelyn Hagen, Jacob Narverud and Paul John Rudoi.  The VoxMix Ensemble and guest instrumentalists will join Singers Companye.  Free-will offering.
