Join Mensa, the High IQ society

Testing is offered monthly. Enter on the north side of the church where a Mensa sign is posted. Seating is limited so please call and leave a message, or email the proctor to insure a seat. Show up at 11:30 to fill out paperwork. Test starts at noon and ends by 2:00 pm. No entry after test starts. The south side of the church has a ramp for entry. Persons needing this must contact the proctor to  insure the building doors are unlocked. Test is normally $60 unless a reduced rate is advertised. Prepurchase the test at the national website and bring the voucher number issued to the test. Or pay on site by cash, check or credit card. Photo ID required. Persons ages 14-17 must have parent present to sign consent form. Parent must stay in the building during testing, but are not allowed in the test room, unless they also are testing. Cell phones will be sequestered during the test.

Other test dates/times may be arranged with the proctor. Testing at universities is also done, cost currently $99. This may allow you more flexibility in selecting a test date.

Mensa offers scholarships. During the period Sept 15 to Jan 15 annually, anyone going to college may fill out an on-line essay and have it graded. Winners are notified the following May and the funds are sent to the college for the following fall/winter use.

Mensa groups have monthly meetings. Regional gatherings are offered. A national gathering occurs each July. Special Interest Groups (SIGs) offer many areas of interest on-line.
