Learn about intellectual property and how to protect your creative work with United States Patent and Trademark Office-trained library staff. Register to receive a Zoom event link.

The Akron-Summit County Public Library is a Patent & Trademark Resource Center. Designated a PTRC in 1995, the library is part of a nationwide network of public, academic and special libraries spread throughout the United States. We offer access to resources from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in a variety of formats, including instructional classes, books, databases and handouts.

Join us for four weekly lunchtime sessions where our USPTO-trained librarians will help you learn more about intellectual property. Dates and topics are below. Register for one, some or all:

May 5 - Copyrights

May 12 - Patents

May 19 - Trademarks

May 26 - Trade Secrets

This is a free virtual program taking place via Zoom. A Zoom link and instructions will be emailed to all registrants the week of the program.
