Introduction to Intellectual Property
Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, Trade Secrets
Akron-Summit County Public Library is a Patent & Trademark Resource Center. Designated a PTRC in 1995, the library is part of a nationwide network of public, academic and special libraries spread throughout the United States. We offer access to resources from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in a variety of formats, including instructional classes, books, databases and handouts.
Join us for four weekly lunchtime sessions where our USPTO-trained librarians will help you learn more about intellectual property. Dates and topics are below. Register for one, some, or all:
March 3 - Copyrights
March 10 - Patents
March 17 - Trademarks
March 31 - Trade Secrets
This is a free, virtual program taking place via Zoom. A Zoom link and instructions will be emailed to all registrants the week of the program.
