Learn about trade secrets and how best to protect your creative work with USPTO-trained library staff. Register to receive a Zoom link.
Akron-Summit County Public Library was named a Patent & Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) in 1995. PTRCs are a nationwide network of public, academic and special libraries spread throughout the United States. We offer access to resources from the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) in a variety of formats, including instructional classes, books, databases and handouts.
In this class, our USPTO-trained librarians will help you learn how to protect your creative work through trade secrets. You will learn the basics of a trade secret, what it is, how to get one, and cost involved.
This is a free, virtual program taking place via Zoom. A Zoom link and instructions will be emailed to all registrants the week of the program.
