Dance at MAPS Air Museum on November 26

The Military Aviation Preservation Society Museum© [MAPS] is hosting its last fund-raising dance of 2022 featuring LaFlavour on Saturday, November 26. Unlike the previous dances of 2022, this occasion will not require registration. This dance features “Five Decades of Hits,” live music by LaFlavour. Since this is not catered, admission is reduced to $10 per person, payable at the door. Guests may bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages. No Alcohol Will Be Permitted.

 

The dance will be in the MAPS aircraft hanger amid restored historic planes at its museum in Green, Ohio, near the Akron-Canton Airport. Beverages, chips, and cookies will be available at the snack bar. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

The dance is open to museum members and the general public. Doors open at 6 pm with music starting at 7 pm and lasting until 10. No reservations are needed.

 

MAPS Air Museum is an internationally known museum of aviation with more than 40 aircraft on display or in various stages of restoration, ranging from a wood and fabric glider of the Wright Brothers era to a Navy F-14 Tomcat, the type that had a prominent role in Top Gun: Maverick.

 

The museum serves as a center of aviation history for Northeast Ohio. The museum features educational displays of its collection of acquired artifacts, interactive exhibits, and historical archives in its own library.
