This is the first of a new “Cracking Down on Cybercrime” series where we cover basic security measures you can take to strengthen your confidence in navigating the internet. This first session will cover a common scamming technique called email phishing. (And yes, this is spelled correctly with a “ph”!) You'll learn to mark emails as suspicious, recognize and mark objects as fraudulent, and block the email's sender. This program was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library services and the State Library of Ohio. Registration is required.
