On Monday, September 16th at 7 p.m. at the Hudson Library, Christopher Leonard will discuss his book, Kochland: The Secret History of Koch Industries and Corporate Power in America. The book examines how one private company consolidated power over half a century—and how in doing so, helped transform capitalism into something that feels deeply alienating to many Americans today.
Leonard is a business reporter whose work has appeared in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, and Bloomberg Businessweek. He is the author of The Meat Racket and Kochland, which won the J. Anthony Lukas Work-in-Progress Award.
Copies of Kochland will be available for purchase and signing courtesy of the Learned Owl Book Shop. Register for this free program online at hudsonlibrary.org or call (330) 653-6658 x1010.
