Appling Memorial Concert: Sunrise Mass

Please join The Academy Choir and Orchestra on Sunday, April 7 at 7:00 in the Chapel for The William T. Appling Memorial Concert Series featuring a performance of Sunrise Mass by Ola Gjeillo.  This stunning new work is a contemporary setting of ancient mass texts.  With movements titled The Spheres, Sunrise, The City, and Identity, the work is described by Gjeillo as a metaphor for human development from child to adult or a spiritual journey.  The performance will be visually enhanced with photos representing places WRA students live and visit.
