An Evening with Author James Patterson

On Tuesday, October 19 at 7 p.m. the Hudson Library & Historical Society will host a live virtual streaming event with New York Times bestselling author James Patterson, best known around the world for his action-packed thrillers. Patterson holds the Guinness World Record for the most #1 New York Times bestsellers. 
 
Patterson’s enduring fictional characters and series include Alex Cross, the Women’s Murder Club, Michael Bennett, Maximum Ride, Middle School, and Ali Cross, along with such acclaimed works of narrative nonfiction as Walk in My Combat Boots and his newest, E.R. Nurses. Bill Clinton (The President Is Missing) and Dolly Parton (Run, Rose, Run) are among his notable literary collaborators. For his prodigious imagination and championship of literacy in America, Patterson was awarded the 2019 National Humanities Medal. The National Book Foundation presented him with the Literarian Award for Outstanding Service to the American Literary Community, and he is also the recipient of an Edgar Award and nine Emmy Awards. 
 
Copies of Patterson’s most recent book, ER Nurses, will be available for purchase courtesy of the Learned Owl Book Shop. Registration for this program is required and a valid email address is required at time of registration. Participants will receive an email invitation to attend the program, hosted on Zoom, a day before the program begins.
