The library will host a live virtual streaming event with international bestselling author Angie Kim. She will discuss her award-winning debut novel Miracle Creek, which asks the question just how far you would go to protect your family. Set in a small town in Virginia this courtroom drama has been described by Time as a “gripping---page-turner.” Miracle Creek was named “Best Book of the Year” by Time, The Washington Post, Kirkus, and The Today Show.
Kim emigrated from South Korea and went on to attend Stanford University and Harvard Law School where she was the editor of the Harvard Law Review. Kim has also written for Vogue, The New York Times Book Review, The Washington Post and Glamour.
Copies of Miracle Creek will be available for purchase courtesy of the Learned Owl Book Shop. Registration is required for this program. Participants will receive an invitation to join the presentation, hosted on Zoom, a day before the program begins.
