Alison Stanger, Author of Whistleblowers

Allison Stanger, Professor of International Politics and Economics at Middlebury College, will discuss her book, Whistleblowers: Honesty in America from Washington to Trump, which offers a compelling history of whistleblowing in America. The book brings to light how whistleblowing has held powerful elites accountable in America and its importance to sustaining American democracy.

Stanger is the Russell Leng ‘60 Professor of International Politics and Economics at Middlebury College, a New America Cybersecurity Fellow and an External Professor at the Santa Fe Institute. She is the author of One Nation Under Contract.
