Akropolis Reed Quintet

Tuesday Musical's 2023-24 Akron Concert Series presents Akropolis Reed Quintet on Tuesday, November 7, 7:30 p.m. at EJ Thomas Performing Arts Hall.

The first reed quintet on the Billboard Charts, Akropolis Reed Quintet has “taken the chamber music world by storm” (Fanfare), winning seven national chamber music prizes, including the 2014 Fischoff Gold Medal. Experimenters at their core, Akropolis has collaborated with poets, a metal fabricator, dancers, and more. In Akron their unique blend of virtuosity, humor, and passion will come alive in a curated program of works by well-known composers along with selections from some of the most exciting voices of today.

Available at on-line and 330-761-3460, individual-concert tickets start at $19. Full-season subscriptions start at $90 for all six concerts in the series. Pick-Four concert packages start at $65 and Pick-Three concert packages start at $49.
