The Akron Inventors Club welcomes James O. Wilson the Assistant Regional Director at the United States Patent and Trademark Office to speak at this months meeting. James O. Wilson will present a program on how intellectual property plays a role in advancing your business through patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. The program will also look at advanced topics in patents including the patent process, international considerations, and micro- and small-entity status for inventors and business. Mr Wilson has over 25 years' experience working for the United States Patent and Trademark office working as a patent examiner in several areas, an instructor in Office of Patent Training and working with the Office for the Commissioners for Patents. The Akron Inventors Club is free and open to all with an interest in invention and innovation.
