Meet with a licensed attorney to discuss civil legal concerns, including debt, housing issues, family law, wills, powers of attorney, record sealing, and more. Call 330.643.9020 to register.

This series is a partnership between Akron-Summit County Public Library, Community Legal Aid, and the Akron Bar Association.

One-on-one, thirty-minute sessions with a licensed attorney will be conducted via Zoom.

During the one-on-one sessions, registrants will have the opportunity to ask legal questions covering a variety of subjects, including:

  • debt (bankruptcy, credit card lawsuits, garnishments),
  • housing issues (eviction, housing conditions, foreclosure, land contracts),
  • family law (divorce, custody, visitation, protection orders),
  • wills, powers of attorney, and probate matters,
  • record sealing,
  • and more!

Note: Technical requirements for the Zoom sessions are a device with access to WiFi, a video camera, a microphone, and a speaker. An option to visit the Main Library is available for those without access to the technical requirements.
