The members of Bath Volunteers for Service have been dedicated to bettering the greater Akron community through volunteer service since 1958. BVS, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, raises money to award scholarships and merit awards to graduating students and to provide annual grants to nonprofits serving men, women and children in need throughout Summit County.
The BVS Tour of Distinctive Homes, now in its 45th year, is the major funding source for these grants. Thanks to the support of last year’s tour participants, gracious homeowners and our generous sponsors, proceeds from the tour provided grants to local nonprofits totaling over $50,000.
