The Northeastern Ohio Flute Association and the School of Music at the University of Akron are proud to present the 18th annual NEOFA Flute Festival on Sunday November 1 from Noon to 7pm. This year’s guest artist is Bonita Boyd, Professor of Flute at the Eastman School of Music. The day's events will include a recital (2pm) and a master class (5:30pm) with Ms. Boyd and a high school master class with George Pope, flute choir reading sessions conducted by Janet Becker, flute choir concerts, exhibits, and the High School Young Artist Competition (4pm). All events will be in Guzzetta Recital Hall, 139 E. Buchtel Ave., across the street from EJ Thomas Hall.
