NEW! Therapeutic Drumming
Monday, November 2, 6:00pm-7:00pm
Akron musician, singer, and HealthRhythms Facilitator, Fred Ardillo, will facilitate a monthly therapeutic drum circle using a protocol called Group Empowerment Drumming. This protocol promotes an "attitude" of wellness which includes exercise, nurturing, social support, spiritual practice, intellectual stimulation, stress reduction, coping skills and creative expression. No experience is necessary. A variety of drums and percussion instruments will be provided.
