The Akron Guild of Organists and the Fairlawn Lutheran Church Parish Arts Series will co-sponsor a Hymn Festival, featuring the outstanding organist and recitalist from Wittenberg University, Dr. Donald Busarow. He is also a composer and College Choir Director, of the famous Wittenberg University Choir. A large mass choir from various churches along with members of the AGO will provide the choral portion of the program, accompanied by a Brass Choir, other instruments, and the Holtkamp pipe organ of 42 ranks. Readings for All Saints Day will be interspersed with the hymns sung by the choir, and congregation, featuring organ introductions, variations, and improvisations. The event will be inspiring and exciting for everyone involved. A free-will offering will be gathered.
