Summa Barberton Hospital will host free Caring Hearts Support Group meetings for 2009. People with congestive heart failure, their family and friends are welcome to attend.
The 2009 series ends on Tuesday, November 10 with Vicki Lonteen, RN, BSN, who will speak on "Heart Failure: How to Take Care of Yourself and Your Loved One." If you care for someone with heart failure you know how hard it is to manage diet, medications, daily weights and hospitalizations and take care of yourself. Taking care of your well-being is just as important as your role of care partner.
Lectures will be held at the hospital beginning at 2:00 pm in Cardiopulmonary Gym on the ground floor. Summa Barberton Hospital is located at 155 5th Street, NE, Barberton, OH 44203. Parking is free.
