Jump-start your creative process and find your niche in this writers’ mini-conference. You will refine your writing and learn tips for achieving success as a freelance writer - from Nancy Christie, author of The Gifts of Change and published magazine contributor. Whether you have already embarked on a writing career or are just beginning to explore your ability, you will learn to make the most of your literary talent. Three workshops, designed to help you find and market your writing voice:
• Writing the Feature Article - provides information on how to turn your experience, hobbies and knowledge into article ideas, where to find the sources and how to develop the interview questions that will give your article the "expert touch." Includes the query letter and contract tips.
• The Art of Essay Writing - takes a step-by-step approach to finding meaning in the events of your life and transforming that meaning into essay form. Use your personal experiences as a springboard for creating marketable essays.
• From Writer to Author - basic marketing tools to help you successfully promote your book or other works before and after publication.
Nancy Christie is a published author and creator of her signature "Rut-Busting"™workshop series. Box lunch included. Please register by March 28.
