Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service to Hold Free Class on
Pain Management for Healthcare Professionals
The class will provide 1.0 contact hour of continuing education.
Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service (VNS) will hold a free class for health care professionals on "Solutions for the Mysteries of Pain Management" on March 16, 2010 at 5 p.m. One of the mysteries of pain management is to identify behaviors that are indicators of pain in patients who are unable to verbalize their pain. This workshop will explore interventions to relieve pain without increasing unwanted behaviors. The class will be held at the Hospice of VNS Care Center located at 3358 Ridgewood Road in Fairlawn. Dinner will be provided.
Visiting Nurse Service and Affiliates (OH-185, expiration date 12/01/2012) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver of by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
