Description: SQL, Structured Query Language, is used to communicate with a database. It is the standard language for relational database management systems and is used by Oracle, Sybase, Microsoft SQL Server, Access, Ingres and others, who then require further training for their own systems. You will learn the basic tools for database design and use including how to retrieve information from multiple tables at one time, insert new information, update and retrieve information for reporting and summarizing. Follow up with the Advanced SQL course and you will be prepared for training in specialized systems.
