Barberton, Ohio, August 15, 2010 – Summa Barberton Hospital is hosting a free Heart Healthy lecture series for 2010. This year’s series continues on Tuesday, September 21 with Janice Koster, RN, BSN, who will speak on "Palpitations: Are they always bad?" A palpitation is an abnormal awareness of the beating of the heart, whether it is too slow, too fast, irregular, or at its normal frequency. Learn why palpitations occur and what current treatments are available.
Lectures will be held at the hospital beginning at 6 p.m. in Conference Rooms D & E on the ground floor. Summa Barberton Hospital is located at 155 Fifth Street NE, Barberton, Ohio 44203.
