Do you want to take better candid photos? If you are a year book advisor, school newspaper photographer, realtor, parent, or if you need good photos for your organization or business, this course is for you! Learn how to frame and capture the 'moment'.
Includes techniques in applying the rule of thirds, ISO/ASA and pixilation, camera lenses, framing inside the viewfinder, use of the f-stop and shutter speed, depth of field, light, composition, and basic ethics in photojournalism. You will have some out of class assignments. Instructions apply to both digital and SLR cameras. You must have basic working knowledge of your camera and a USB flash drive to bring images to class for computer projection and critique.
