It isn’t like school – Our goal is lively, informal, and friendly conversation about books that you help choose. All that you need to be a part of the group is a love and enthusiasm for reading. The library provides the books.
So far we’ve had spirited discussions of books like "Things Fall Apart", "The Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao", "On the Road," "Dear American Airlines," and "O Pioneers." These titles reflect the wide-ranging tastes of our members.
The First Wednesday Book Group meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7 pm in the Main Library. Call Popular Culture at 330.643.9035 for more information and the name of our current read.
