Description:

Active Server Pages.NET (ASP.NET) is Microsoft’s newest Web development model. This this course you will learn the basics of how ASP.NET works and how to put together the pieces of an ASP.NET application. Through hands-on exercises you will work with the common language runtime, Web Forms, XML Web services, the Microsoft.NET framework. At the end of this course, you will have the necessary skills and knowledge to be able to create a Web site that can be used to serve up database information on the Internet. Prerequisite: database or programming experience. No class July 15.

O Explore the process of Internet communication between a browser and a Web server
O Learn the fundamentals of ASP.Net classes in .NET Framework.
O Using Visual Studio.NET, layout Web forms without writing any code
O Confighure ASP applications, including setting up security
O Learn simple data-binding methods

O Discover how to use ASP.NET tracing and debugging tools
O Manage application state and user information
