This course is designed for use by health care food service employees, particularly those in long-term care facilities and hospital food service operations. It is also available for food service employees in correctional facilities, public schools and other institutional settings offering patient care. The three focus areas of the program are nutrition, management, and safety/sanitation. Successful completion of this course permits you to become a member of the Dietary Managers Association (DMA) and take the DMA exam, receive the National Restaurant Association ServSafe Certification, and receive the Ohio Department of Health Food Protection Certification. Registrants must be high school graduates or equivalent. Students who successfully completed the Fall 2007 course passed the Dietary Managers Credentialing Exam at a rate of 100 percent! The national pass rate is 72 percent. Materials included. No class Oct. 24, Nov. 21, Nov. 28, Dec. 26, Jan. 2. No discounts apply.
