Whether you are just beginning an IT career or you want to increase your value as an IT professional, A+ Certification is necessary. You will learn the basics of computer maintenance, perform system diagnostics, learn to understand CPUs, memory, storage media, modems, network interface cards and peripherals, install and configure DOS, various Windows operating systems and applications. Passing the CompTIA exams will give you the A+ Certification. This course does not cover fees for the certification exams, but prepares you to take them. Discounts are offered through UA for the exam fees. Class will meet Monday and Tuesday evenings 6-9 p.m. Tuesdays Sept. 28 - December 21, and Mondays beginning November 1 - December 13.
