Summa Barberton Hospital will host the free Caring Hearts Support Group for 2010. People who have congestive heart failure, their friends and families are welcome. The series continues on Tuesday, October 12 with Susan Barrett, RN, BSN, who will speak on "ICD and Pacemakers in Heart Failure." Implantable defibrillators and pacemakers are used for certain causes of heart failure. Learn about when they are used and how they work to help hearts.
Meetings will be held at the hospital beginning at 2 p.m. in Cardiopulmonary Gym on the ground floor. Summa Barberton Hospital is located at 155 Fifth Street NE, Barberton, Ohio 44203.
