Summa Barberton Hospital will host the free Caring Hearts Support Group for 2010. People who have congestive heart failure, their friends and families are welcome. The series continues on Tuesday, September 14 with Janice Koster, RN, BSN, who will speak on "Women and Heart Failure: What is the difference?" Heart failure is a major problem for women. However, there are differences between the types of heart failure seen in men vs. women. Knowing about these differences can help women identify warning signs.
Meetings will be held at the hospital beginning at 2 p.m. in Cardiopulmonary Gym on the ground floor. Summa Barberton Hospital is located at 155 Fifth Street NE, Barberton, Ohio 44203.
